It is a metaphor for the internal system of the Underground Film Lodge. Imagine a black box that can directly receive input about events, filmmaking exercises, locations, rough cuts of films, general feedback, etc. from filmmakers and supporters. The black box then delivers an output: an optional path that the UFL can take, secure feedback on a film or script you are working on, and/or the next event location, etc. The output will exist as a forum post for continued conversation and iteration. V.1 of the Black Box will be mostly for input on the events, locations, meetings, and general feedback.
